Hydraulic Oil Filtration

The model HF-240 Skid manufactured by Filtek India (P) Ltd has been successfully introduced on a large number of marine vessels to purify the hydraulic oils by effectively removing moisture from oil, all iron/steel particles and insolubles to provide the end user with oil to ISO 17/15/12 standard. This mobile skid with quick connect inlet/outlet couplings can be easily shifted between different hydraulic machinery oil tanks on board the vessel. The flow rate being 3 LPM it will filter the oil completely in 3 passes of the oil tank capacity. Thus a 600 litre oil tank can be cleaned in just 10 hours with 3 passes of the oil capacity through the filtration unit. An evaporation chamber has a heating element set at 60 deg C. When the thin film of oil percolates over the baffles of the casting, any moisture traces in the evaporation chamber are vented out to the atmosphere. A rare earth magnetic conditioner will capture all iron and steel particles while the oil passes through a 1 micron microglass fibre cartridge filter where all solid contamination is removed.
